Running from the goverment

Emerald ran through the thick forests of canada trying to lose her prusers but so far it wasnt working. She wore a torn up pare of jeans and shirt with a jacket over them. Her red hair flew behind her as she leaned against a tree panting heavilly.

"Those guys never give up!"She growled tail inbetween her legs.



[color=Yellow]Bullets rammed against the solid oak tree nearly pentrating the bark. At least 8 armed men in swat team uniorms were standing infront of the tree.

"Give it up girl! We know you are in there so some with us quitely or we will have to return you to the doctor in peices." The lead on stated taking aim at the tree again[/color]
Emerald sighed and came out from behing the tree hands in the air.

"I guess you boys finnaly caught me i suppose you will get you Christmas bonus now that you got on of the goverments top experiments. One of the only ones i must add that has full control over her actions." Emerald smiled as she began to hear rushing water behind the men. Her eyes darkened a bit as the water began getting louder. "May i say one last thing before you take me back?" She asked inocently wings emerging from her back.

The leader rolled his eyes up in his head. "I suppose so."

"Surfs up!" Emerald said as a 9 foot wave came up behind the men and washed them all out into the middle of the road. SHe had fotunatly flew above the wave right as it hit. She didnt let the wave kill anyone she just made it so they would be washed far away from here.

Emerald flew up into the trees and landed on a branch. However a sharp pain filled her shoulder causing her to howl in pain.

5 helicopters were hovering over her and were shooting at her.

Emerald reealized she had been shot and began running again through the forest before having more pain surge through her wings.

"Great now i am gonna die! I have lost to much blood to even use my powers!" She growled as more men came down to the forest and began shooting at her. She growled deeply at the men that tried to stop her and lunged at one at sicked him in the face. She blew the others away with a massive wind gust. However thier still was the matter of the psychotic experiemnt that Fusionist sent to kidnapp her.

Before she knew it she was pinned to a tree by a massive claw to be what it looked like a half bear half praying mantiss. Emerald struggled to move but nothing worked it had her pinned by the waist with its super strong claw.

"Great i bearmantiss is about to take me out my day is just going great!" She said sarcasitcally. She couldnt move her hands because they were underneath the claw. The creature roared as it began tightning its grip around Emerald which made her let out a howl of pain.

[Rogue]

Flying overhead, Rogue dipped lower, into the treeline, as she went, scanning carefully for any signs that something wasn't right.

Hearing a cry of pain, she turned sharply in that direction, and halted a litle a way for a second. A girl was being attacked by some kind of...creature.

She flew forewards, grabbing onto the calw latching onto the girl, and flying outwards, trying to snap it off with her enhanced strength. She was pretty sure it would work, and thereby free the girl, who she could take back to the Instutute. Simple.

The creature let out a howl of pain when its claw was snapped. It realeased Emerald and turned to Rouge and was abot to hit her with its remaining claw. But this was before Emerald regained comprehension of what was going on. With some adrenline pumping through her she used her enhanced stregth to pick up the creature and throw it into a tree killing it in an instant.

Her Tail wagged back and forth when she saw rouge. "Hi thanks for the save back there." She said tail wagging.

[Rogue]

"No probblem."

Rogue motioned to the creature's corpse. "What th' heck w's tha' ugly thing?"

She figured to wait a few moments before she went and tried to explain her reason for being here, make sure the girl would be inclined towards joining the X-Men, all that. Small talk, really.

*X-T sat in a tree not to far from the scene. She watched the battle getting good, then it ended. X-T sighed and hoped off out of the tree.*

Jus' when it was gettin' good, too.

*X-T looked over at the creature lying on the ground.*

I wonder what that thing was, anyway.

"Thats thing was one of the scientests experiements." Emerald stated "It had been sent to find me a return me to the labratorys but i think we took care of it." Emerald grinned tail wagging

[Rogue]

Looking up as another girl seemed to appear out of a tree at random, Rogue arched an eyebrow. "Ah see.."

"An' who's this? Ya know 'er?" As she spoke, she waved a gloved hand at the newcomer.

*X-T stopped dead in her tracks, seeing the girl with the white streaks in her hair wave at her. She slowly sidestepped, stepping on twigs and breaking them. Suddenly, X-T heard a low growl. X-T sniffed the air.*

Oh crap...

*There was a loud roar. A bear. A very, big bear. X-T sprinted forward.*

RUN!!!

[Rogue]

"No need t'run, hon'. Ah'll handle this."

Rogue flew up a little, hovering, and dove straight at the bear, swooping around behind it, and grabbing onto it. Flying straight up, she swirled around in circles, faster and faster - then let go, sending the masive creature flying into the woods.

Rubbing her hands together, as if to dust them off, she landed gently on the ground infront of the two girls, crossing her arms and smiling slightly.

"Thare, that should keep 'im away f'awhile. Now than. Y'all got anyplace ya're headin', o' what?"

*X-T looked up at the woman with white streaks in her hair. She was strong... very strong.*

Um... I... uh...

*X-T took a few steps back, sinking low to the ground.*

[Rogue]

Rogue ran a hand through her hair, then sighed and crossed her arms.

"Simple question, Sugah. Don' get all freaked bah me o'nothin', 'kay? Get 'nough'a that in New York!"

*X-T kept on sinking.*

Yer not a freak...

*She kept her hands into fists.*

Ya jus' don' look like yer tha' strong, no offence er anythin'...

[Rogue]

"None taken, hon. C'mon, get up, an' let's all get outta heah befo--"

The ground shook violently, and over the trees, a Sentinal seemed to grow out of the ground from nowhere. It's eyes were dim at the moment, then lit up brightly.

"Targets. A. And. B. Confirmed." it boomed, "Designate. Rogue. Confirmed. Calculating..."

There was a pause as the ground continued to rumble beneath them. Two more sentinals rose from the ground, flanking the other on either side. As one, they raised their left hands, the gun in each starting to glow as it charged up.

"Calculation. Complete." they said, "Continue. Capture. As. Planned."

"This ain' good." Rogue growled, narrowing her eyes at the large robots as they started forewards. "Y'all bettah run f'it...while ya can."

Finishing that sentance, she took to the air.
