Jean-Paul grabbed the young girl dragging her out of the way of the sentinels laser blast. It was the 3rd sentinel attack this week but they hadnt been aiming to kill before this. Jean-Paul grabbed a grenade from hsi belt and flew up to the sentinel dropping it inside. He fled with the girl as the sentinel exploded behind him.
" Go ...before more appear " he said to the frightened young mutant.
He looked up seeing more sentinels appearing on the skyline and hid in a warehouse where he could view there activities in safety...this was a normal day in the life of Jean-Paul, protecting mutants from the sentinels

(Mind if I pop in here?)
Rogue was walking back from a shopping trip, carrying a small bag in one hand that was eavier than it looked, when she saw the explosion in the distance.
With a weary sigh, she set her bag down in an alleyway, and stripped down to her uniform, which she always wore underneath her clothes, the skintight spandex hidden well under layers of clothing.
She lifted into the air, and flew off towards the blast. Arriving on the scene, she hovered a good distance above, surveying the damage. A mangled, destroyed Sentinal, obviously a newer model than the ones she and the X-Men had previously faced years before.
"Aw sh--"
She heard a humming rumbling sound, and looked up, going paler than normal. More. Lots more, flying this way.
She pressed a button on her belt, activating the emergency alert, which would sound at the mansion, and over everyone's communicators, and lead them here, and readied herself for the attack. Apparently whoever had blown up the other one had already left, leaving her alone here.

Jean-Paul looked towards rogue recognising her from the news as one of the X-Men, it seemed at long last he was going to get some help
He flew towards her " hey can ya hold them things off while i get these mutants to safety, he pointed towards the warehouse he had flew from where there were 4 other mutants hiding in terror

Looking over in surprise as another mutant flew up to her, she smiled slightly, which, with her gothic make-up, looked a bit out of place.
"Ah'll do mah bes'. Ah called in backup - but they may not get heah in time."
The Sentinals started to land nearby, al lining up in rows, like soldiers in ranks. It was a chilling sight.
"Jus' hurry."

He handed rogue a grenade " use this...put it in the ventilation pipe " he sped off towards the warehouse and started leading the mutants towards the sewers whee theyd be safe.
Suddenly a sentinel landed in front of them cutting off thier escape " run quickly il ldistract it" he flew towards the sentinel and started circling it drawing its fire away from the defenceless mutants

Nodding grimly as the total stranger gave her a grenade and instructions, she flew off towards the ranks of the Sentinals. One raised a hand to fire at her, steeled herself, flying right hrough itand her invulnerability protecting her. Now the robot had a gaping hole in it's palm.
She flew up, placing the grenade as she'd been instructed, after pulling out the pin, and flew a bit away. The Sentinal exploded.
"One down...'Bout thiry t'go."
Another Sentinal raised a hand, this time successfully firing out the green, gooey substance that quickly hardened after hitting the air, trapping mutants inside for safe transport. She shied away from the ooze, flying right up in it's face, waving at it, then flying around back, hoisting it up by it's shoulders, and flinging it into another one nearby - which was the one Northstar was trying to distract.

" Nice one " he shouts to rogue as the sentinel blows up, satisfied that the mutants are safe he rejoins the battle " any chance of more of you x-men coming cos we could use the back up, he ducked under a sentinels arm landing on its head puncing it with his enhanced speed breakign through the metal skull, he reaches in the hole ripping wires out before finally the monstrosity crashes to earth " one more down " he grins

"Ah call'd f'backup, but Ah ain' sure they're comin'."
She continued the battle as she shouted over to him, flying up to a Sentinal, and tearing it's arm off. She swung it around in a circle, then used it like a bat, hitting the Sentinal in the head, sending it crashing into another one next to it.
"Pick on somone ya own size!" she called to the fallen Sentinals.

Jean Paul seeing that rogue was in danger from been hit from behind flew straight at her knocking her out of the way of its beam. Unluckily for him the beam smashed into him, he let out a yell of pain as he plummeted towards the ground, blood pouring from various points of his body

Startled as she was pushed from behind, Rogue lost concentration, and started falling out of the air, catching herself before she hit the ground.
"What the --"
She spotted the injured mutant, and swore, swooping down to land at his side, putting a gloved hand on his shoulder, trying to evalutate his injuries quickly. She looked up - a Sentinal was rushing their way.
"Targets. Designate. One. And. Two. Locked....Objective - Capture." the robot said, reaching a hand out, ready to shoot another beam on them.
"Oh no y'don'!" she growled, scooping Jean-Paul up and flying quickly away - it was too dangerous to sta there with him injured. If she set him someplace, she couldn't keep an eye on him and fight at the same time.
Accelerating, she headed for the mansion, carefully holding onto the other mutant, making sure none of her skin touched his.

Jean-Paul opened his eyes painfully...the skin around his face was red and burnt " thankyou" he managed to mutter before drifting into unconciousness

Wolverine walked boldly into the city. There where about twenty Sentinals left from the fight Rogue and Northstar where in. "This will be fun," His claws shot out and he ran towards a Sentinal.

Rahne ran after Wolverine and began to try to perice the sential's armor with her fangs. "I hope these thing arent wolf proof!" She growled keeping a tight grip on its arm.

Gabby ran over a Sentinel and used her powers to chill it. She did her best to freeze the Sentinel. Then she ran toward it and used all her might to kick it, hoping that she could get it to fall over and smash.
